Really cute little cafe....a bit of a walk and off the beaten path but nonetheless it was really worth it. They manage to fit in 12 seats in what feels like less than 15sqm, but hey this is Japan and cramped is part of the experience! It's great that they speak a bit of English, menu also written in English (Google translate usually cooperates nicely with me when it's time to go out and eat). I ordered their "ordinary coffee" and you get to choose the beans, so I went with Nicaragua and had their seasonal caramel apple pound cake. The little maple leaf pie cookie was a bit stale but otherwise the pound cake was really nice. Moist and not too sweet. Perfectly complemented the slightly darker roasted notes from my hot cup of joe. Baristas and owner are very nice, genuine smiles and very welcoming. I've wanted to visit this coffee shop for a while but my outings always take me to the other side of Fukuoka. I definitely look forward to visiting again, but maybe not on a weekend where your ears or tufts of your hair inevitably end up photobombing someone else's cutesy couple photos.........

Was in Fukuoka last year and found this cozy coffee shop after visiting the Fukuoka City Museum. The coffee was great, and the owner was really friendly — even recommended a few other spots to try. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Fukuoka.

It is a niche cafe in a quiet area 10 minutes away from Nishishin station. It was decorated in a Western style with around 10 seats in-door and 4 seats outdoors. The entrance was a signature with the plants and the tables. Apparently, it was operated by the owner only. It, therefore, took time to fulfill the orders one by one when there were multiple customers because all drinks and food were hand-made. It offers a range of coffee beans to choose from. The coffee was lovely, and the caramel orange pudding was so appealing. Since it is a small cafe, it is probably good for a short rest, though.

My first visit today so I give it 4stars because I can't speak for the consistency but my double shot Cappuccino(6oz) was just amazing. The barista was very friendly, inviting and attentive to my order and even asked about how I like my milk frothed. The shop is of the smaller variety with outdoor seating which I find to be very cozy. This place is a bit out the way so I don't know when I'll be back but I'll definitely be back for more

Niyol coffee is my favorite cafe and the owner is very nice. The beans are specialty coffee so we don't promote world going for poverty, we can support coffee farmer directly.
